A Historic First
This Bhagavadgita rendering is a harmonious blend of Karnatic and Hindustani classical music, light, folk and western music, and proceeds to transport the listeners musically into a spiritual trance. In the musical history of the world, this is the first time that a musician composed, sang and recorded an outstanding philosophical treatise fully and with meanings, with world class technical excellence and dedicated his life entirely to promote world peace and universal brotherhood.
The special attraction of this Bhagavadgita is the adoption of the genre of musical drama, in making the dialogue between Sri Krishna and Arjuna manifest itself in front of one's eyes. Singing the verses and rendering the meanings with appropriate articulation to reflect the diverse characters appearing in the Bhagavadgita — Sri Krishna, Arjuna, Sanjaya and Dhritarashtra — is another speciality.
Recognising this enormous effort, the world famous Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTDs) extended its helping hand. The project has garnered a tremendous amount of appreciation and response from Bhagavadgita followers from all corners of the world.
